leap motion vr mount oculus rift dk2

Leap has made available a new bundle which will save developers $10 when buying the Leap Motion controller and corresponding VR mount for the Oculus Rift VR headset.

Back in August, Leap announced a VR mount for their Leap Motion controller that’s designed to affix the unit to the Oculus Rift DK1 or DK2, allowing developers to easily bring their hands into the game thanks to Leap’s depth-sensing tech. The mount sticks to the front of the headset allowing the Leap Motion to be easily clipped in and out, making it easy to use the device interchangeably between desk and VR. The VR mount is priced at $20, with the Leap Motion controller itself at $80.

Leap is now offering a ‘VR Developer Bundle’ which allows developers to buy both items together for $90, a discount of $10. The bundle is now available in the Leap Store.

Leap has also created a VR specific section of their gallery, a space where they collect Leap Motion enabled experiences. The VR section now has 11 experiences which work with the Oculus Rift using the Leap’s VR mount.
