The first round of judging of the Oculus Mobile VR Jam is over, and we now have our finalists—a total of 61 submissions split between two tracks, Games and App/Experiences.

Oculus first went over each and every one of the 307 entries, looking for “fun and innovative ideas” via videos, images, and descriptions of the Game or App/Experience. The builds were verified for functionality, but none were played or experienced for content.

We’ve poured over your submissions to make sure each one was reviewed by a least three judges in Round 1, scoring them based on promise and innovation and selecting the top 20% of submissions in each track.

In the second and final round, the 37 Games and 24 Apps/Experiences will rest in the hands of the judge’s panel.

All entries are still available to receive the ‘Community Choice Award’ for either Game or App/Experience, and will net the highest voted submission in both categories $10,000 in cash. Public voting will close on May 27th, so get voting (thanks to Kent Bye for the intuitive website)!

Winners will be announced “on or around” June 4, 2015 and will be competing for over $1,000,000 in cash prizes.
