Hey guys. I am here because I am thinking about dropping everything to start building a world for the Oculus Rift. How many of you are planning on developing for the rift? I might be in a position to hire artists and people familiar with Unity in the next few months.

Hello shiny new forum. Me? Just some random dude, fudging around with Photoshop and trying to develop mobile apps. Would love to try my hand at Unity but so far have not had time to :3 perhaps later… and yes, cannot wait to see what the future will bring, except everyone growing older then.
Hi All. I did a lot of graphics programming back in college, and had the opportunity to work with expensive VR equipment (large display walls, gloves, etc.). I’ve been doing less interesting programming since then so I can’t wait to receive my Oculus. I grew out of gaming a long time ago (I don’t think that happens to many people), but maybe I can think of something interesting to make.

Hi all, Daan here. Looking forward to see what you guys will come up with! I’m creating the vrappstore.com. Not sure if this will be seen as advertisement so I will probably leave the mentioning of VR App Store to this reply. I wil however be here from time to time to check out new developments in the VR scene and I hope I can work with some of you at some point in spacetime ;)

Hi Robert, I’m no 3D hero but I do know quite a bit about web development ;) So my contribution will be what I can do in this new realm of VR, which is creating an app store ;)

Hi All, built my first VR app over the previous year, and have been completely “immersed” ;) since. As far as my interests, I’m more on the science end of VR than gaming, but looking forward to seeing what the Rift will bring for the industry. As we all know, as goes gaming, so often follows the technology. Glad to be a part of a potentially earth-shaking community. Looking forward to seeing some of the work that comes from this group.
