Home › Forums › Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Forum › Welcome to the new RtoVR Forums!
One of the key requirements for the brand new RoadtoVR website was to have a dedicated area for fans of VR to come and share thoughts, ideas and (where appropriate) hurl well reasoned abuse at one another.
The system is based on BBPress with BuddyPress extensions – which means you can add friends, send PMs and even post your feelings in public (should the urge take you). Feel free to also upload your own custom Avatar (keep it clean please, or at the very least legal). We’ll add some brief pointers / tutorials in this thread at a later date, but anyone who’s used an online Forum before should be fairly comfortable.
Finally, we’re still working on polishing the Forum and it’s functionality and have plans for sub-forums in the very near future. In the mean time, enjoy and if you find anything br0ked report to the contacts in our about page.
Rock on! This is a great cause! New technologies don’t just happen, they need support.
\o/ Thanks for the kind words Poopy. I can call you poopy right? ;)
Bit grey and glommey ? ;)
Hello to you too! ;) We like to think of it as ‘muted and sophisticated’, but in all honestly I’m not familiar with the term ‘glommey’ but it sounds very positive .. :)

Smart arse, looks good and familiar though very clean and simple how I like it :)
Thank you and thank you. :)
By the way, as a busy person I forget to check here, is it possible to get an RSS-feed with new threads? Not all posts, but something to tell me when a new thread has been made :D Less spammy, very useful. Cheers!
As yet, you can either follow the main site feed (button on the front page) or you can use the following link:
http://www.roadtovr.com/forum/virtual-reality-augmented-reality-forum/feed
…to follow just the forum activity. However, it does include all activity. I doubt at the moment that would really be too spammy – given how many people we have, but getting notified of new topics in the future would be useful. In the mean time use the above, it should help.
Great site! I look forward to spamming it with a lot of enthusiastic nonsense. I hope you don’t mind? :)
