Hi and welcome to the new Road to VR. If you’ve been a regular reader, you’ll notice that things look at bit different. Fear not, looks are indeed the only thing that have changed. This refresh of the site represents my commitment to continue covering all things virtual reality. As you can see I’ve added some ads to help fund this site a little (I don’t expect it to earn more than pocket change). Regardless, I started this blog back in October of 2011 and have wrote in my free time for 10 months purely because I’m enthusiastic about the topic, and that hasn’t changed one bit. You can continue to expect the same quality coverage that you’ve seen from me. There is some very exciting stuff about to happen in the field of virtual reality gaming and I will be here every step of the way to keep you up to date on the developments. Thanks for reading, and please feel free to get involved in the conversation!

Loving the new site man! Could I get your thoughts on these Augmented Reality Contact Lenses? They sound amazing!

    Great Site! Thanks

Love the new design but I got to tell you, I hate sites with itsy bitsy fonts… I end up zooming and making the the graphics and layout look bad.

    • Ben Lang

Thanks for the feedback, Yossi. The appearance isn’t final just yet and I’ve been considering doing something about the font. I think it’s a pretty standard 14 currently, does it seem too small?

        Seems fine to me ^^

Like the site, but the road to VR looks a bit creepy in that photo, I think I saw in on the news once, along with a phrase like “…before turning the gun on himself” lol ; )

    • Ben Lang

Haha, in fact I took this photo myself on a backpacking trip, no gun involved!

      lol

Bug: doesn’t show up right in feedly…

    • Ben Lang

What seems to be the issue?

This is a nice site, but the RSS-flow went broken after the update. There is only one entry in Google Reader from the 17th of July 2012 (Psychological Relativity) and no updates. I have tried to remove and add the RSS-flow several times without success. You should investigate the problem…

    • Ben Lang

Thanks for pointing this out. I am aware of the problem and working on a fix!
