AltspaceVR, the social VR platform, is touring major cities in the US and Canada on a new ‘VR Hype Tour’ starting today. The team will be demoing their platform and letting attendees enter to win VR headsets.
AltspaceVR will be attending a number of VR meetups across the US and Canada so that people can try out their cross-platform VR social space. Meetup attendees will also have the chance to win a Samsung Gear VR (phone not included), new consumer Oculus Rift, and some AltspaceVR goodies to boot.
On top of that, the team will be showing off platform features, doing a live coding demonstration of the AltspaceVR SDK, and informing fellow devs of the company’s own ‘developer’s initiative’ – a $150K fund created to support devs who want to create apps on the AltspaceVR platform.
