Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is Coming to Oculus Rift Spring 2016 — Breaking

At Oculus Connect’s Keynote presentation, Palmer Luckey took to the stage to announce that Minecraft will be adding official virtual reality support with Oculus Rift support Spring next year.

Palmer Luckey made a brief appearance on stage at Oculus Connect today to make but one announcement, that one of the biggest videogames in the world is coming to Oculus Rift, giving millions of players  tantalising reason to get into virtual reality.

The game will ship in a Windows 10 edition and it should become available in Spring 2016, around the time the consumer Oculus Rift is due for launch.

To celebrate the announcement, Luckey took to throwing Minecraft merchandise into the crowd.
