Take It Easy, Yo
Walkabout Mini Golf – $15
Walkabout Mini Golf is such a pleasant surprise. You wouldn’t think a mini golf game would be such a hit, bit the game is incredibly well done and developers Mighty Coconut are constantly tossing out new courses to conquer, be it alone or in online multiplayer with your pals. You seriously don’t need to even like golf to fall in love with Walkabout.
‘Walkabout Mini Golf’ on Quest
Little Cities – $20
You can totally play Cities: Skylines on Quest now, although the ground-up development approach with Little Cities makes it the winner in terms of ease of use and pacing. You won’t be scrambling around too much to plan and build your little city, and although there are a few environmental obstacles you’ll need to overcome, nothing can stop you from chilling and taking everything with a zen-like attitude as you watch your little world go by.
Cosmonious High – $30
The developers behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator are (of course) all about madcap simulators that turn everyday stuff into the extraordinary and weird. Meet Cosmonious High, an alien high school which is essentially a big interactive playground sim for you to develop and use your alien powers. There’s plenty of time to just chill, mess around with the cosmic toys, and talk to all of the weirdos you call your friends, you know, like actual high school.
Angry Birds: Isle of Pigs – $15
It’s Angry Birds, but in VR! Ok, it’s a bit more than just that. This is a new 3D take on the classic mobile game that really makes you think as you rocket your little sentient ammo at the evil green piggies hiding in their blocky refuge.
Vermillion – $20
Bring out your inner Bob Ross with this super detailed painting simulator. Your adjustable easel lets you easily paint from any position and even follow video tutorials to teach you how to create impressive works even on your first try. Mix colors, paint fine strokes using multiple brushes, and make something you can be proud of.
