Samsung’s Gear VR headset is shaping up to be a hot holiday item… if you can get your hands on one.
Samsung’s consumer-ready Gear VR headset just launched last week. As such, you aren’t likely to find any deep sales on Gear VR today on Black Friday, but Samsung is slightly sweetening the deal with free site-wide shipping through 11/30, which applies to the Gear VR headset.
Samsung’s official Gear VR product page, which offers the headset at the original $99 launch price, says to expect 3-4 weeks for shipping, and warns that the headset may not arrive by Christmas day.
Gear VR is technically available also at Amazon and Best Buy, but currently listed as sold out.
