Horror Game ‘Here They Lie’ Coming to PSVR, Teaser Trailer is Here

PlayStation’s pre-E3 event teased a number of PSVR games from well-known names out there, including Batman: Arkham VR, Star Wars: X-Wing VR Missions, and Final Fantasy XVbut it looks like some original IP has made its way into the event’s rapid fire trailer releases as well. And horror game Here They Lie certainly is original, we’ll give them that.

Nightmarish glimpses into the game betray some pretty gruesome and bizzare scenes, with everything from a weirdly creeping shadow man to an explosion of roaches coming out of the wall – so everything you wanted to experience face-to-face.

“Here They Lie transports you to a terrifying world from which you cannot escape. Explore a nightmarish city inhabited by strange, malevolent creatures in this ground-breaking first-person horror game compatible with PlayStation VR.

Struggle to survive as you wrestle with life or death moral choices and try to uncover the mystery of the woman in yellow.”

Here They Lie, created by Tangentlemen in collaboration with Sony’s External Development team at Santa Monica Studio, is slated to arrive on PSVR in fall of 2016.

Good heavens, loving the look of this one. Nice to see this studio (Tangentlemen is a great name, BTW) aiming for interesting character designs and such a distinctive visual style. Shame I don’t own a PS4, but I can always dream of future ports to the Vive/Rift.
