New ADR1FT ‘Clair de lune’ Trailer is the Most Beautiful Yet

Three One Zero and 505 Games recently revealed that they’ll be ready to ship their space exploration and survival game, ADR1FT, which is being developed for VR and standard gaming platforms, will be ready to ship on March 28th alongside the Oculus Rift. This latest trailer reminds us of why we can’t wait that long.

The new trailer subbed ‘Clair de lune’ after it’s stirring Debussy soundtrack, reveals more beautiful visuals and some epic moments of scale as the protagonist, an amnesiac astronaut in peril, explores what’s left of their space station. Floating wreckage, debris and chunks of the orbital laboratory make for an eerie if stunning backdrop to this survival title, one that we can’t wait to play in full on in virtual reality.

ADR1FT comes to Steam and the Oculus Rift on PC on March 28th. We’re due to find out more details of other Oculus Rift titles in the works at a special Oculus media event to be held just ahead of this year’s Game Developer Conference March 13-15.

Based in the UK, Paul has been immersed in interactive entertainment for the best part of 27 years and has followed advances in gaming with a passionate fervour. His obsession with graphical fidelity over the years has had him branded a ‘graphics whore’ (which he views as the highest compliment) more than once and he holds a particular candle for the dream of the ultimate immersive gaming experience. Having followed and been disappointed by the original VR explosion of the 90s, he then founded RiftVR.com to follow the new and exciting prospect of the rebirth of VR in products like the Oculus Rift. Paul joined forces with Ben to help build the new Road to VR in preparation for what he sees as VR’s coming of age over the next few years.
