New ‘RIGS: Mechanized Combat League’ PlayStation VR Trailer Shows Dubai Stadium

Revealed at Sony’s press conference at Paris Games Week today was a bevy of updated trailers for titles coming to Playstation VR including a new trailer for RIGS Mechanized Combat League.

The “RIGS” in question are the piloted mechsuits that compete in a global bloodsport of 2065. Produced by Guerrilla Games Cambridge, RIGS is attempting to full the niche of virtual reality’s first real e-sport.

Located in the gorgeous city of Dubai, the new stadium is much larger than Rio, the arena previously shown at E3. With more open areas and a symmetrical layout, this is a brand new way to experience Mechanized Combat.

RIGS is an exclusive title headed to PSVR, the PS4-compatible headset that is set to launch in the first half of 2016.
