Sorry folks. It has been a solid month since my last podcast, and I am truly sorry that I have not been as active as I normally am. I have recently lost my job, got a new one, and am moving to Seattle. Lots of big changes for me.

Rev VR Podcast – Episode 106

After SVVR 2015, I got the news that my company was outsourcing my position. While this would normally be a devastating blow to most folks with a family to care for, I took it as an opportunity to reach out to the VR community and say, “Hey, Rev. Kyle is ready to work for YOU!”

After several offers, and much deliberation, I chose the best offer and started the process of moving my family out to Seattle, WA. Assuming all goes well, I will be there by the 1st of August, ready to take the VR world by storm.

Since I didn’t do any coverage of E3, I decided to touch on the one big thing that really stuck out to me, the level of negativity and naysaying that occurred afterwards. I, of course, have my own opinions on the matter, and spell them out quite vividly for you.

So, as I say farewell to my hometown of Cincinnati, and say hello to my new home in Seattle, I just want to assure everyone that the content will keep coming, and the interviews will be awesome. Stay tuned, and thanks for listening.

Hi Rev, I love listening to your podcasts!

Personally I have no idea if or when VR will become mainstream. VR is a hard product to sell.

  • WadeWatts

That’s a big move Rev! Well I hope you like salmon! Looking forward to showing you my Oculus game when you arrive! Safe travels.

  • Mageoftheyear

Congrats on the new job Rev! It’s good to know that you’re moving closer to the VR epicentre.
Best of luck with the move (oi vey, moving is a pain in the ***) and best of luck with the new job too! ;)

I hope the move went well and you’ll be back to podcasting soon.
