New ‘Pollen’ Footage Demonstrates Gameworld Interactivity

Mindfield Games, a Finland based games studio, have given Road to VR exclusive new footage showing pre-alpha gameplay of their soon-to-launch sci-fi themed exploration VR title, Pollen.

Update: At the request of Mindfield Games we’ve removed the video footage of Pollen as it was footage mistakenly released to us and not ready for public consumption. Our apologies for this, we’ll be working with Mindfield to bring you new gameplay as soon as we can.

The level of care and detail put into Pollen is stunning, and for what Mindfield CEO Ville Kivistö affectionately calls his “triple A indie game,” we certainly can’t argue. There’s something ominous in this mutli-verse exploration game that has me wondering just what could be outside Rama Industries’ Titan station doors.

The game is confirmed to target Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Sony Morpheus headsets.

Mindfield Games also released a selection of new screenshots in the lead up to Gamescom – you can find those here.

Check back for our complete hands-on with Pollen, and all of our other VR coverage from this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
