Ambitious Tactical Shooter ‘Falcon Fall’ Aims for AAA Quality, Coming to PC VR in Late 2026

Falcon Fall is an upcoming co-op tactical shooter from new indie studio Infinit Entertainment, which says it’s aiming to deliver “AAA quality in VR—with a focus on visuals, immersion, authenticity, and next-generation presence.”

Developed in Unreal Engine 5 by a team of VR veterans and combat-experienced advisors, Falcon Fall just got a reveal trailer, showing off action the studio says is inspired by modern tactical shooters, such as Ready or Not (2023) and Onward (2020), and films like Black Hawk Down (2001).

It’s difficult to tell whether we’re seeing any actual gameplay in the trailer, guided cinematics, or a mix of both. Still, it’s early days, so we’ll be following the studio’s YouTube channel and Discord (invite link) for more leading up to release.

Aiming for a real-world battlefield experience, Infinit Entertainment says Falcon Fall is combining “handcrafted missions with dynamic systems to create a sense of living, breathing combat operations.”

“We’re not just making another VR shooter—we’re building something that feels alive, unpredictable, and unforgettable,” says Infinit Entertainment’s ‘Echo Charlie’. “This is about tension, presence, and the kind of authenticity that only comes from stories told by those who lived them.”

In the meantime, you can wishlist Falcon Fall on Steam for PC VR headsets; the studio says it’s launching there first in late 2026, although it may support other headsets at a later point.

  • It looks cool

This is what VR is about! no hand-holding, no timed-events, no rhythm combat. Just play how you want to achieve the mission. "Tension, presence, and authenticity" I'm sold!

YYep there is yet to find someone who can build such a game.
a game that is focused to play a kind of way instead just "free" can many tines be better if the "free" game mechanics isnt well made.

look for example openworld/sandbox if you can't make it good the openworld and sandbox gameplay is just boring.

gone are the days when people were impressed beeing able to flip a coffee cup in VR (At least for the vr gamers today not taöking about newcomers).
now i rather get a good game were the dev didnt focus just on the flipping coffe cups i the first pöace but sctually made a good game.
if there is time to add extra fidelity and polish then yes add those coffe cups flippable also if you want to add immersion.

I don’t see any coffee cup flipping here. I see real world combat based on actual tactics and strategy that the player is allowed to initiate however they like. No restraints on how to engage an attack. Any hand-holding is for babies who don’t understand what VR is about and come from console gaming. VR is gaming evolved, it needs to be next level. It also demonstrates real world AAA graphics, not bright rainbow colored baby cartoon visuals we see in a lot of new titles. Some devs need to be arrested for crimes against humanity.

        • NL_VR

Oh really you see that? I see a video with 0% gameplay.
I wish you are right about the things you say about the game

    • Matt

You are basing this on a cinematic trailer with like 4 seconds of gameplay cut for the trailer. Have we not learned.

      • pixxelpusher

And from descriptions I have read about the game from various repots. Despite not seeing full gameplay yet, these are what all VR games need to be like. No more baby games

IIt looks cool but says absolutely nothing

    Needs gunstock support adjustments.
