The folks from Convrge went to see what would happen if they tried to order food and drinks with Samsung’s Gear VR using the unit’s passthrough camera.

The Convrge team has been experimenting with social VR applications, including a telepresence VR application that brings the real body of users into a shared virtual space and a prototype of a multiplayer VR dance club. It looks like they’re now onto some experimentation with Gear VR, with the video above showing what appears to be one of the first multiplayer titles for the mobile VR headset.
