Oculus announced last month that Quest will soon be able to play Oculus games on PC via a new feature called Oculus Link. Though Oculus Link will immediately add big boost in value to existing Quest headsets, perhaps even more interesting is what this announcement tells us about next-gen Oculus headsets.

Sanzaru Games made some pretty big claims about Asgard’s Wrath when it was first revealed earlier this year, calling it their “deepest title yet” and promising 30+ hours of first-person combat, dungeoning, and all of the RPG goodness you could hope for. And although the term ‘AAA’ has been bandied about, it seems the hype is mostly well-founded here: besides some fairly minor gripes, Asgard’s Wrath sets a new bar for VR-native RPGs.

The long awaited Vive Cosmos launched last week. At least among vocal early adopters, fanfare seems muted and points to a handful handful of common complaints. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is an upcoming VR survival horror game that places you squarely in the show’s apocalyptic universe of zombies. While developing studios Skydance Interactive and Skybound Entertainment lifted the veil on the game’s trailer today (see it here), the studios also published a nine-minute video on the game’s site that shows off some pretty intriguing pre-alpha gameplay footage—and it’s definitely giving off Fallout vibes.

IRIS VR launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign last month for LOW-FI, an atmospheric cyberpunk virtual reality game and so-called spiritual successor to TECHNOLUST (2016). The campaign is now over, having garnered $108,191 CAD (~$81,000 USD), a bulk of which came in the campaign’s first week.
