VRsenal, a company creating commercial VR attractions, has partnered with Beat Saber (2018) studio Beat Games to launch a VR arcade machine featuring the popular block-slicing rhythm game. The arcade cabinet, which is touted for its ability to run attendant-free, is set to debut next week at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Shadow Creator, a Shanghai-based headset manufacturer, today announced their upcoming headset Shadow VR will be the newest hardware partner to adopt HTC’s Vive Wave platform. The standalone VR headset, which supports six degrees of freedom (6DOF) for both headset and controller tracking, is slated to launch worldwide on November 11th for $400.
While the Vive Focus initially launched with a single 3DOF controller, HTC recently announced a dev kit add-on which brings a pair of 6DOF controllers to the standalone headset. We got our first chance to try out the system today at an HTC press event in San Francisco.
