Ubisoft today announced a new VR arcade shooter called Space Junkies, billing it as a “jetpack-fueled arcade shooter developed exclusively for virtual reality gaming.”

At Ubisoft’s E3 2017 presentation, the company announced a cinematic-focused VR psychological thriller called Transference. Launching in Spring 2018, the title seeks to “bridge the gap between movies and games,” and is being developed in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal and Elijah Wood’s content studio SpectreVision.

Microsoft on VR for Xbox One X: ‘PC is Where we’re focusing on [VR] this year’

Though the company initially proclaimed that the Xbox One X (formerly known as ‘Project Scorpio’) would feature VR support, at E3 this week Microsoft is distancing itself from that commitment. An official statement provided to Road to VR suggests that the Xbox One X won’t see any form of VR support as a launch feature, and perhaps for some time to come.
