After a stressful day at work, I needed to unwind. I popped on my DK2 and loaded up Eden River HD. It helped so much that I had to talk to the creator, Aaron Lemke, on this episode of the Rev VR Podcast.

The great thing about Eden River HD is that it is not just eye candy. The music and lighting truly sets this one apart from the rest of the available VR titles. This is truly a work of experiential art.

Aaron explains how his desire to have an experience like this drove him to create it himself. Knowing how important the soundtrack can be to a game, he constantly let the inspiration flow from musical notes, to code, and back again.

What is it about music in a movie or a game that creates such powerful emotions in us? Aaron and I explore that and have a wonderful conversation about classical music and famous movie scores.

In my opinion, Aaron has created an experience that exemplifies a genre that will help promote a high adoption rate in the average consumer space. To come home from a hard day at work and don your HMD for a cruise down the Amazon will be reason enough for everyday folks to want one.

Be sure to check out Unello Design to get your copy of Eden River HD.

Thanks to Aaron for making such a wonderful experience and taking the time to talk to me.
