Oculus seems to be on a bit of a hiring spree as of late; Facebook is advertising over 400 positions dealing with AR/VR via its job portal at the moment. One posting in particular at Facebook’s Reality Lab—Electrical Engineer – Eye Tracking in AR/VR—lends a healthy dose of credence to the belief that the company is indeed pushing to include eye-tracking in their next generation products.

Waltz of the Wizard (2016) is a exceptionally well-built VR experience from Iceland-based studio Aldin Dynamics. As one of the pioneering demos to heavily feature object interaction back at the birth of consumer VR, it always felt like the curiously magical prologue to something much larger. And although Aldin hasn’t promised as much today, the studio is continuing on with development of Waltz of the Wizard in a new ‘Extended Edition’, heading to PC VR headsets next week.

Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital and developer behind the Gran Turismo franchise, recently sat down with GT Planet to reveal a bit about the studio’s next Gran Turismo title. Yamauchi says that not only is the next GT game already in works, but it will embrace the “past, present and future.” Furthermore, Yamauchi says he believes in the future of VR, and confirms it’s “very suited for a driving game.”
