Last week’s Connect conference was three days of exciting announcements from Oculus. Join Road to VR’s Ben Lang as he and Cymatic Bruce host special guest Brad Herman inside of VR itself to recap and discuss the latest news from the conference. The action goes down inside of AltspaceVR on September 30th @ 8:30pm PT (your timezone here); you can join and participate with or without a VR headset!

From brand new Touch games to Minecraft for VR, Connect 2015 was packed full of exciting announcements and experiences from Oculus and others. On hand to break it all down (and answer your questions) is Road to VR Executive Editor Ben Lang and AltspaceVR Head of Developer & Community Relations, “Cymatic” Bruce Wooden. Joining the hosts is special guest Brad Herman, Head of DreamLab at DreamWorks Animation.

Join the trio live on September 30th @ 8:30pm PT (your timezone here) in AltspaceVR using an Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, or even on a standard monitor. Did we mention it’s free? Come on down!

When are we getting a android option? – From a gear VR user

Gear VR support was announced recently but it hasn’t been launched publicly just yet!

Thanks Ben, Bruce, and Brad! I’d call that my first truly social VR experience and I left feeling like I’d glimpsed the future of social interaction. The full body tracking gave a major improvement in communicative ability over the Vive and Rift avatars. I look forward to the next event.
