Digital game storefront Humble Bundle is offering DiRT Rally for free, now through September 1st. The version of the game being given away is via Steam with official support for the Oculus Rift, though unofficial support for other SteamVR headsets should work via the Revive mod.
Valve’s collection of VR-minigames, The Lab, is one of the highest rated SteamVR titles and it’s free. With support for Index, Vive, Rift, and Windows VR, there’s no reason not to try it if you own a PC VR headset. Beyond some very polished mini-games, Valve has included quite a few easter eggs to uncover.

HTC today announced that Viveport, the company’s digital distribution platform for VR games, now supports Valve Index. Stormland, the next (and likely final) Oculus exclusive title from Insomniac Games, will feature drop-in / drop-out co-op for two players, the studio has confirmed. The studio also announced the ‘Terminus’, an end-game like experience where players will face their greatest challenge. A new trailer for the game highlights the diverse variety of combat tactics available to players.
After a tumultuous initial rollout of the HP Reverb headset marred by stock shortages and display issues, the company says that the issues have been identified and fixed, and that new inventory is bringing the headset back in stock.
