PSVR Gaming Bundle ‘HeroCade’ Available This Month in Europe, Australia & New Zealand

HeroCade is a compilation of nine VR games for PlayStationVR, and while it’s already been out in North America since earlier this year, European countries will finally able to buy the cheap and cheerful game pack this month, which features a number of VR favorites previously available only Samsung Gear VR and PC VR platforms.

Review: ‘ProjectM: Daydream’

ProjectM: Daydream is a VR dating experience from Korean studio EVR Studio. While it’s fairly short and only offers subtitles in a number of major languages to go along with the Korean audio, the experience of sitting across from a very life-like person as she laughs and smiles, talking about her vacation as you jump into immersive interludes, makes me wonder what the future of VR dating sims will look like. From what I can gather from Daydream, they’re going to be a whole new ballgame.

Felix & Paul’s ‘The People’s House’ 360 Video Wins an Emmy

The second night of the 69th Emmy Awards saw a number of nominations for virtual reality content, including rendered experiences and 360 video spanning a diverse swath of genres. Taking home an Emmy this year was The People’s House: Inside the White House with Barack and Michelle Obama, a 360 video created by Felix & Paul Studios and Oculus Studios that gives you a guided tour of one the most important buildings in the world, led by former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
