Last night, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., proudly announced that their Playstation 4 VR Headset Project Morpheus was coming to market in the second half of 2016. In the mean time, they revealed the latest Project Morpheus prototype was at GDC and contained numerous enhancements over the first demonstrated version.
Playful Corp, the company in partnership with Oculus and makers of Lucky’s Tale, gave us a hands-on with the new updated demo, which featured two complete levels and fit and finish that speaks to the near-maturity of the VR games scene.

Sony has revealed the specs for the latest version of their VR headset, Project Morpheus – 120Hz, 1080p low persistence with 18ms latency. These details shared a few moments ago at Sony’s special Project Morpheus event.
The presentation was short as it seems the lions share of the allotted 4 hours for the event was to give time enough for attendees to get their hands on the new prototype.
