ABC News announced the release of a VR experience now available on Jaunt VR’s iOS and Android apps. The video follows ABC News’ Alexander Marquardt as he reports on curatorial efforts to preserve endangered antiquities in Damascus, Syria, the capital of the country that has been embroiled in both a civil war and a fight against ISIS for some four years. ISIS in particular has repeatedly targeted and destroyed culturally and historically significant sites in Syria.
Using Three.js to Create Social VR Applications with AltspaceVR’s JavaScript SDK
The new JavaScript SDK from AltspaceVR is going to allow front-end web developers to quickly and easily create social VR applications. The AltspaceVR SDK is based upon three.js, which means that developers can create a WebVR-enabled application on the web, and then bring up that experience from a Chromium browser within AltspaceVR and have a fully immersive VR experience that is aware of the other people within Altspace.

Sony Confirms New 90Hz Display Mode for PlayStation VR (formerly Morpheus)
