Meta is getting ready to roll out Quest’s v46 update ahead of its Connect 2022 developer conference next week, bringing to the platform a modest set of new features alongside a new Home environment inspired by The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Now developer Mighty Coconut has released a new paid DLC, this time bringing to the game a course inspired by the classic Jules Verne novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1870).
Sony plans to release PSVR 2 sometime in early 2023, although exactly when is still a mystery. Now a Bloomberg report maintains the company is aiming to produce 2 million units by March 2023, which would signify a sizeable uptick in sales expectations over the original PSVR.
There’s been a torrent of leaks that over the months have given us a pretty comprehensive look at Quest Pro, Meta’s next high-end VR headset likely seeing a big reveal at Connect next month. Now it appears a new device is being subject to the same leaky treatment, with a supposed consumer-focused ‘Quest 3’ headset now surfacing.
RUNNER is an upcoming racing game from indie studio Truant Pixel that promises to bring some very ’80s-inspired run-and-gun action to Quest 2 next month.
