Bethesda’s E3 keynote has seen a number of announcements including a new Fallout 4 VR trailer that gives the first public glimpse of VR gameplay in the Wasteland. The company has also revealed that the game will launch in October.

Microsoft on VR for Xbox One X: ‘PC is Where we’re focusing on [VR] this year’

Though the company initially proclaimed that the Xbox One X (formerly known as ‘Project Scorpio’) would feature VR support, at E3 this week Microsoft is distancing itself from that commitment. An official statement provided to Road to VR suggests that the Xbox One X won’t see any form of VR support as a launch feature, and perhaps for some time to come.

At Microsoft’s pre-E3 keynote today, we’ve seen plenty of non-VR games coming to the Xbox console family, now including XBox One X (formerly Project Scorpio). But with still no clue of possible VR support to come for the 4K console, the second installment of Lucky’s Tale (2016), called Super Lucky’s Tale, is apparently coming to XBox One as a console exclusive with no clear sign that VR support is in the cards.
